The Cambodia national football team represents the Kingdom of Cambodia in association football. Also known as the Angkor Warriors or Kouprey Kampuchea, it is governed by the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) which is part of the Asian Football Confederation and sub-confederation AFF. Known as the Khmer Republic national football team from 1970 to 1975. It finished fourth place in the 1972 Asian Cup, which still remains as Cambodia's greatest achievement in an international competition. The team was founded in 1933 and joined FIFA's ranks in 1953.
